Boston Police Attack And Arrest #OccupyBoston Protesters


Boston Police attack protesters in this video:

Boston.com reports that were at least 100 people arrested for unlawful assembly, a criminal charge. Unlawful assembly is a misdemeanor offense under Massachusetts criminal law, with a maximum penalty of 1 year in jail, and a $500 fine.

However, it was reported that when the arrestees reported to the Boston Municipal Court, the charges were reduced down to a civil ordinances in Suffolk County.
